We fed AI our framework and watched it build a complete measurement plan...

AI knows measurement marketing
A few weeks ago, Mercer and I decided to test something pretty wild.
What if we could teach AI our measurement marketing framework... and see how close it could get to building real client measurement plans?
So we fed ChatGPT our framework PDF. Just said "learn this."
Then we asked it to explain the difference between measurement marketing and marketing measurement.
The result? It nailed it. Better than many humans can.
Then things got really interesting:
→ We gave it our QIA examples and asked it to build a measurement plan for a roofing company
→ It created action thresholds, tracking setups, and even Google Tag Manager code
→ We watched it generate I’s on the Journey matrices in real-time
→ It built everything from scratch in under 30 minutes
The coolest part? This collapsed what used to be a 90-day implementation timeline down to 30 days or less.
This isn't just about AI being smart. It's about what happens when you can eliminate the "busy work" that keeps people stuck in marketing measurement mode.
Because here's the thing - marketers don't want to wait. They're impatient. That's why 100% of marketing measurement isn't as good as 60% of something where you actually plan first.
But if AI can handle the initial heavy lifting... suddenly measurement marketing becomes accessible to everyone.
Fair warning - this video shows both the promise and the limitations. AI gets about 75% of the way there, but you still need human oversight to catch the nuances.
