Server-Side Tracking, Set Up in a Chat Window
No tags, no triggers, no variables. Just one prompt and a plugin.

Server-side tracking usually means GTM: tags, triggers, variables, and an afternoon you don't get back.
This week Manisha Mistry, our Technical Director, does it a different way. She connects Tracklution's MCP server to Claude Desktop and runs the whole install through chat.

Connecting it is a two-minute job: open Claude, add a custom connector, paste one URL, authenticate. Then she pastes a single prompt and steps back.
From there it scouts the site, works out what it's built on, picks the right install method, creates the container, runs a dry run, and hands back a tracking ID. Her only real job is installing the plugin and pasting that ID in.
The part I liked: she isn't babysitting it. You can kick it off and take a client call while it runs.
It's also not a spotless demo. The test purchase fights back, an order sits in the wrong status, and she works through it on camera. That's the useful part.
Next month she goes further, installing tracking with Claude Code and Tracklution's npm package, where the whole thing collapses into one prompt.
